COLONY RESEARCH

Research Process 

1) Have a general idea of what you want.
2) Formulate your research question. 
3) Pre-search - start to formulate keywords and focus.
4) Explore research resources (see list below). 
5) Evaluate the source. Is it useful for my needs? Is it authoritative? Is it reliable?
6) Take notes/outline/graphic organizer. Cite sources used.
7) Write paper or create project.
8) Edit, revise, rewrite. Submit when complete.

2) Research Databases - Research databases contain reliable, authoritative information neatly arranged and easily navigable.
